MOPA is a new, upcoming museum created to celebrate and preserve Pittsburgh's rich artistic legacy, presenting artworks from the past and present, while being a space where future generations will gather to appreciate and be inspired by the city's incredible artistic vitality.        Our first exhibition, the Introductory Show, featuring over 100 artists, will be on Saturday, November 14th, 2026, from 6 - 9 pm, at Lascaux Studios, 722 Wood St. in Wilkinsburg.  MOPA has been promised a permanent home, if and when the state approves the proposal of historic preservationist Tom Tripoli to re-develop the Western Penitentiary on the North Side (more info on that at www.SavetheCastlePgh.org).   Until then, we'll be doing shows at the former Roboto space in Wilkinsburg, as well as pop up appearances.   At the moment, we're continually adding artists to the website.  Scroll down or click on the Artists tab above to view a slideshow. Thanks for visiting! Enjoy!
